Heather Griffes is the outstanding dental hygienist of Aesthetic & Implant Dentistry of Beverly Hills. With her very gentle, yet efficient touch, Heather continuously provides our patients their well deserved ever shining smile.
Originally from the Midwest, Heather graduated with the highest distinction from Ferris State University's College of Allied Health Sciences where she was also class president. Heather was inducted into Sigma Phi Alpha, the National Dental Hygiene Honor Society (Alpha Nu chapter).
During her senior year, one of Heather's classmates was paralyzed in a car crash. In 1998, shortly after graduation, Heather worked with Dr. Marylyn Stolberg (director of Ferris' Dental Hygiene Program), an occupational therapist and another faculty member to retool the program's lab equipment to accommodate physically challenged students. This lead to Heather's classmate becoming the first wheelchair-bound dental hygienist in the U.S.
Heather continued to further her education with Mercer Mastery Leadership in Dentistry (2001), University of Michigan Continuing Education for Administering Anesthetic (2002), and Pasadena City College for Nitrous Oxide-Oxygen sedation (2004) and holds an Associates Fellowship Laser Certification from the World Clinical Laser Institute (2004). She also has had extensive continuing education in periodontal therapy and, like the rest of the team at Aesthetic & Implant Dentistry of Beverly Hills, enjoys staying on the cutting edge of technology treatments for advancing oral health and patient comfort.
Heather Griffes is a Registered Dental Hygienist and is licensed in Michigan and California and is a member of the California Dental Hygienists' Association (CDHA) and the American Dental Hygienists' Association (ADHA).
