His practice provides treatment to patients with all types of dental needs, with an emphasis on extensive, full mouth rehabilitation. Dr. Stan has successfully rehabilitated thousands of patients with partial or total edentulism (absence of teeth).

University Dentistry Excellence

In 1988, Dr. Stan graduated from California State University, with a B.Sc. Degree in Biology. Realizing his strong desire to help others improve their quality of life, Dr. Stan completed a 4-year Dental Curriculum in 3 years, from the prestigious Northwestern University School of Dentistry. At Northwestern, Dr. Stan received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) in 1991.

At both Universities, Dr. Stan was in the top 1% of his class, and in turn, earned a place on the Dean’s List. After graduating from Northwestern University Dental School, Dr. Stan received his Northeast Regional Board, allowing him to practice dentistry in 27 States.

Providing a Better Experience

Concurrently, Dr. Stan obtained his license from the California Dental Board, so he could continue his studies and practice dentistry in the state of California. Furthermore, in 2004, Dr. Stan earned a very specialized License to Perform Conscious IV (intravenous) Sedation, as well Oral Sedation... giving patients more options, to make their dental experience as comfortable and pleasant as possible.

World-Class Continued Education

Dedicating his career to the advancement of Cosmetic, Restorative and Implant Dentistry, Dr. Stan’s passion for Dentistry led him to further pursue training with some of the world's most prominent Dental Specialists. Dr. Joseph Stan completed a one-year Residency program in Esthetic Dentistry at UCLA, under the supervision of world-renowned Dentist, Researcher and Professor, Dr. Bruce Crispin.

After his Residency, Dr. Stan graduated from the very rigorous Misch Implant Institute Program. Well-known as one of the world’s most advanced training programs in Dental Implants, the Misch Institute allowed Dr. Stan many opportunities to refine his surgical skills and use his newly-gained vast knowledge of Periodontics, necessary for complex implant treatments.

Up-Close and Personal:

Dr. Joseph Stan is happily married to his beautiful wife of seven years, Noushin. They have two amazing children, five-year-old Jonathan and three-year-old Sophia.

In his limited free time, Dr. Stan loves playing with his family. In addition, Dr. Joseph Stan enjoys numerous hobbies. He is an accomplished photographer, sculptor, painter, writer and tennis player. ­­
